Daywise Itinerary
Day 1
Srinagar – Pahalgam
Assistance upon arrival at Srinagar airport by our company representative & transfer to Pahalgam “Valley of Shepherds”. Pahalgam is situated in the picturesque Lidder Valley and lays 96 kms from Srinagar by road. 7,200 ft. (2,134 m.) above sea level, it is famous for its beautiful scenery, flora and fauna, springs and streams. It is also the base for treks to the higher mountains, check in the Hotel. Later walk along pony trails with a magnificent view of the mountains. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Pahalgam.
Day 2
Pahalgam (local sightseeing)
After breakfast local sightseeing of Pahalgam on pony back or by foot at your own, later afternoon proceed to Aru Valley (13 Kms from Pahalgam) & Chandanwari (18 Kms from Pahalgam) base camp of Amarnath yatra, also visit Betab valley, (as per weather or road condition), famous scenic beauty spot. One can visit Baisaran. Baisaran Valley, located just 5 kilometres away from Pahalgam, is famous as a top sightseeing destination, called mini-Switzerland because of its picturesque beauty. It’s a hilltop green meadow dotted with dense pine forests and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Pahalgam.
Day 3
Pahalgam – Gulmarg
After breakfast proceed to Gulmarg from Pahalgam (156 Kms). Gulmarg (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts), known as Meadow of flowers, Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of India’s premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty; it also turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. On arrival check in Hotel. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Gulmarg.
Day 4
Gulmarg – Srinagar (Shikara ride)
After breakfast first half day to explore the beauty of Gulmarg Valley, enjoy cable car ride (Gondola), up to 1st Phase Kangdoori or up to 2nd Phase Apharwat or one can do pony ride (by your own), Later afternoon proceed to Srinagar, & check in Houseboat. Later in the evening enjoy the Romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake for 01 Hour and enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get a lovely view of some interesting places around the Lake. Overnight stay in Houseboat at Srinagar.
Day 5
Srinagar – Sonamarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, a full day Excursion to Sonamarg (2740 mts) also known as The Meadow of Gold or The Gateway of Ladakh Sonamarg is 86 Kms from Srinagar and is surrounded by colorful mountains and thick Pine forests. Thajiwas Glacier is 3 Kms in the south of Sonamarg. Slopes and meadows are sparkled with the loveliest of alpine flowers, while the rich forests of fir, sycamore and birch at their lush green beauty to the scene. Along with the Pahalgam, Sonamarg is an excellent take off point for treks into the mountains and in itself is an ideal camping ground where glaciers pour down from the Himalayas. Sonamarg is also the entry point for the famous Amarnath Cave, a holy site for Hindus via Baltal Valley. Later evening back to Srinagar, Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar. (Please note: In case of road closure of Sonamarg due to snow, the day trip will be up to Gagangir).
Day 6
Srinagar (local sightseeing)
After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Such as Shankaracharya Temple (Hindu Shrine) Situated on the highest hill of Srinagar, it is nearly one thousand feet above the city, afternoon proceed for local sight-seeing of the Srinagar city which includes , Mughal Gardens Shalimar Garden Abode of Love. This garden is situated at a distance of about 15 kms from Srinagar city. The garden is situated at the banks of Dal-Lake & is surrounded by Zabarwan hills in the background. The colorful flowers add to the beauty of this Garden. Nishat garden (Abode of Pleasure) this garden was built by Asif khan, brother-in-law of Emperor Jahangir in 1632 AD. Nishat garden is the most visited garden of Srinagar city & is made in a Step-Wise pattern. Also visit Chashmashahi or the Royal-Spring. Later evening visitors can visit the local market of the city for Shopping. One can buy shawls & other handicraft items etc. Overnight stay in a Hotel at Srinagar.
Day 7
Srinagar Airport drop: Services end
After breakfast you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch a flight for onward destination with Sweet Holiday Memories.
